C-Brease Field is intended to make channel cross-section surveys easier to collect and review while an engineer or inspector is still at the site. Measurements can be entered as the survey progresses and displayed graphically so that the developing cross section can be checked before leaving the field.

The application is designed to support bridge, stream, and channel investigations where changes in channel geometry may be important to understanding hydraulic conditions, scour, degradation, aggradation, or other changes affecting a structure.
